  8. - What is this ?

  10.  These are my 1438 monitor settings. I have been able to remove
  11.  the borders in DblNTSC,DblPal,Euro36 and Super72. And reduced
  12.  them in Euro72 and Multiscan.

  14. - How did I do it ?
  15.  
  16.  I have done this by using MonEd and by "hacking" the overscan.prefs
  17.  file. Using the overscan prefs program cannot help in changing these
  18.  modes. To change them one can use MonEd and/or a HexEditor to edit
  19.  the Overscan.Prefs file. Note that the overscan prefs program would
  20.  only destroy the settings.

  22. - * Installation *

  24.   Important ! Make sure that you make backups on your old files before
  25.   installing !
  26.  
  27.   Copy the files in the Monitors/ drawer to your sys:devs/monitors/ drawer.
  28.   Copy the files in the Sys/ drawer to your Envarc:sys/ drawer.
  29.   And reboot your computer.

  31. - Problems.

  33.   If the display comes up strange, try to get a commodity with
  34.   support for BorderBlank.
  35.   - Such as MCP1.10 or Yak211.

  59.  Mode  : Euro36 (SuperHires Laced)
  60.  Res.  : 1324*400
  61.  Freq. : 15.768 khz , 73 Hz
  62.  
  63.  Mode  : Euro72 (Productivity)
  64.  Res.  : 704*581
  65.  Freq. : 29.136 khz , 48 Hz
  66.  Comment : Still gives about 2cm borders. But this was the best
  67.            I could make out of it.
